Laughing Tree is the creative arts company that we established in 2008 to serve as the umbrella for our various, creative endeavors- be it music, photography, painting, writing, or jewelry- and more, as we explore new media down the road.

‘Laughing Tree’ is the original meaning of our family name, Lofbomm, in German. To us, Laughing Tree conveys a sense of mirth, growth, strength and bounty. These are qualites that we seek to embody in our work, and inspire in those that experience it.

Laughing Tree’s first public production was, “Unique,” a co-exhibition of Adam’s photographic work and Joe Tetrick’s paintings at Owl Bus in Seoul in May, 2009, and we quickly followed up this successful show with the release of a CD, ‘Laughing Tree Lullabies, Volume 1,’ an eclectic, conceptual collection of music based on lullabies and nursery rhymes from around the globe. This album has been very well received, and we have already begun work on Volume 2, collecting more field recordings and local lullabies as we travel around Europe for six months.

This is just the first crop of Laughing Tree’s many fruits to come, so please stay tuned.
