Singing on TV

Here is my first big role on Korea’s MBC TV show, “Surprise”. Our manager from the show called the day before filming to let me know that I’d be the lead, and that I would be singing. I was excited because, you know, I like to sing.
Well, I was a little surprised to find out what they had in mind. I hope this disclaimer is unnecessary, but, uh, I don’t usually sing like this.
Drumroll, please.

Was I your inspiration for your singing? I guess I never thought someone would want to pay you to sing terrible. Ironic isn’t it? It must be hard for you to sing bad. Mom

Jess! I am just cracking up, watching you in this sitcom talking about your cosmetics and showing off in the parlor! You and I were cheerleaders freshman year, and then in the chapel praise band senior year. Now seeing you on Korean tv….Amazing! Em-WA
