Happy Thanksgiving, happy anniversary of our engagement, happy 4-months in Korea anniversary, happy first snow, and happy December! Oops. Sorry I’ve been neglecting you. I’ve been living! :). Adam and I have gone in to Seoul every off moment to do Christmas shopping, continue our explorations of the city, go to Adam’s art class and odd jobs, and we even stayed overnight at a “jimjabong” public spa/sauna.
Last week, Adam finished his first quarter in school, and he did a great job! He’s now on a month of vacation until January when his second quarter starts. He also competed in the “Movember” mustache contest among the guys here. He didn’t win, but he’s got a serious ’stache to show for it.
We’ve passed the four month mark here, and I can firmly say that we’re settled. I feel happy and comfy in our rhythm here. On top of that, I’m always happy when Christmas is coming. English Village is beginning to glow with Christmas lights and garlands. AND I finished a Christmas song I’ve been working on with our friends Nolan Riley and Nathan Nicol, and it’s now posted on my website for free download! Want some Christmas music? Need some more good music from Jessica Lofbomm? Check it out! Download it! Share it with everyone! This one’s free! December only! :).
One more thing. I got an early birthday package in the mail from my friend Liz today. It was yellow cake mix and chocolate icing! She’s been reading the blog. Thanks, Liz. I appreciate you so much. If any of you want to go on a trip with Habitat for Humanity to Butare, Rwanda in July/August, let me know. Liz is going and looking for a few friends to join her. Yet another movement in Africa…
Good night (and good morning to you on the other half). Congratulations to my mom and dad for the first snow day of the year. I’m jealous!
